Ordering 

• All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

• Website orders can be shipped to New Zealand addresses only.

 

Shipping Policy

Please note, shipping fees below will be added at check-out

South Island Delivery Fees:   

Purchases under $100 = $15.00 delivery fee

Purchases Over $100 = Free Delivery

Purchases over 10kg = Orders over 10kg may have to be sent via Big Chill Distributors rather than courier, you will be advised of shipping costs if any prior to goods being sent.

North Island Delivery Fees: 

Purchases Under $100 = $18.00 delivery fee

Purchases Over $100 = Free Delivery

Packages over 10kg = Orders over 10kg may have to be sent via Big Chill Distributors rather than courier, you will be advised of shipping costs if any prior to goods being sent.

Rural Delivery: We do not send to rural addresses. If you want a rural delivery please contact us "BEFORE" you order as there is an additional charge for rural. Rural (RD) deliveries at customers' own risk due an extra day delivery time.  We advise having your parcel delivered to a residential address where possible.

Post Office Boxes: Please make sure you provide a physical address as we are unable to deliver to a post office box.

Delivery Time: Please allow 1 - 3 working days delivery time via NZ Post Courier. You are welcome to specify a preferred delivery date in the Order Notes box in the shopping cart if desired.

Orders placed after mid-day on a Thursday, or on a Friday, will be dispatched on the following Monday. This is due non-delivery during weekends and some courier depots not having refrigeration options.

Please allow between 3 – 5 days delivery time for bulk orders sent via Big Chill to one of their depots for pick up. (Please see notes regarding 'Bulk orders via Big Chill' below).

NZ Post: We use NZ Post to deliver our cheese New Zealand wide. We use non-signature required tickets, unless the cheese is going to a business address. We use non-signature required for home addresses as we would rather your cheese be left at your door rather than going back to the courier depot.

You will be sent an email notification at the time your parcel is picked up from our factory by NZ Post, this email will include parcel tracking information.

Bulk orders via Big Chill: If your order is large it may be considered a bulk order and will need to be sent via chilled freight, Big Chill Distributors, rather than overnight courier.

We will contact you if your order needs to travel via Big Chill, as you will be required collect your order from the nearest Big Chill Depot.

Please expect between 3 – 5 days delivery time for bulk orders. Bulk orders may incur an additional shipping cost; we will contact you to quote additional costs prior to sending your order.

Alternatively, you are welcome to email cheese@waddington.co.nz to place your order manually.

Packaging: We carefully pack cheese orders with insulated CoolWool and gel ice packs to keep it cool.

Returns: All non-deliveries must be notified to Greg's Smoked Cheese within 72 hours of dispatch from our factory. Parcels that are in circulation for longer than 72 hours are dumped without notification, so please ensure to report any issues promptly so we can urgently follow up with NZ Post or arrange a replacement. If an item is returned as a result of an incorrect address provided by you, we can reship the product to the correct address at an additional cost to you. Due to the perishability of our products we are unable to repackage and ship returned items, therefore you will be responsible for the cost of the new product and we will cover the additional shipping.

Payment Gateway 

We use Shopify Payments to process our payments via a hosted payment page. For your security Greg's Smoked Cheese do not store or collect any credit card information on the GregsSmokedCheese.com website. Visa and Mastercard credit cards are our accepted payment methods.

If an item is returned as a result of an incorrect address provided by you, we can reship the product to the correct address at an additional cost to you. Due to the perishability of our products we are unable to repackage and ship returned items, therefore you will be responsible for the cost of the new product and we will cover the additional shipping.
